At our children’s baptism, we made a commitment to raise our children in the Catholic faith and we (as a community) made a commitment to help the youth in our Church to also be raised in the Catholic faith. Parents are the primary educators for their children. However, ERE offers a number of different avenues to help the parents in raising their children in the faith through the participation of religious education class, sacramental preparation, catechist training, socials, and retreats. Elementary Religious Education offers religious education classes on Sunday from 9:00am to 10:00am for preschool 3 year old, preschool 4 year old, and kindergarten, grades first through sixth grade meet from 10:10am to 11:20am on Sunday mornings. ERE also offers classes on Monday evenings from 4:30pm to 5:45pm for kindergarten through sixth grade. ERE host a number of socials: Barnyard Blast, Living Advent Wreath, children's Mardi Gras party, Seder Meal, family Ice Skating, Seder Meal and a Pool Party to just name a few socials. Elementary Religious Education also prepares the students in second grade for the sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist.
