Why Catholic?

That may not be the big question!
More important questions are: What it MEANS to be Catholic and HOW YOU are Catholic!

Next spring our parish will offer a unique opportunity for all parishioners to become more familiar with the Catholic Faith. It will be a pleasant journey thru the new Catechism, and to help you answer for yourself those important questions you have always had.

It is not too early to begin thinking about those questions and how you personally live out your faith. A group of your fellow parishioners is already preparing for your “Why Catholic” journey.

Do you have Catholic Faith?

Is your faith strong and meaningful to you AND others each day?
Even the scriptures tell us that anyone who has faith also has questions about their faith.

The “Why Catholic” journey will give you that opportunity to get answers to your questions and to put more meaning into your Catholic Faith. We think that you will really like it!

Loving God and Father, help us to be people of prayer,
committed to the person and message of Jesus your Son.

Help us to grasp the integrity and beauty of the
truths of our faith.
Nourish and strengthen us as a people of faith,
committed to the mission of the Church,
and eager to share the gospel without restraint.

Help us to know your loving plan for us, and give us the courage to learn and live that plan as a Catholic-Christian. Amen.
