Elementary Religious Education (ERE)
At our children’s baptism, we made a commitment to raise our children in the Catholic faith and we (as a community) made a commitment to help the youth in our Church to also be raised in the Catholic faith. Parents are the primary educators for their children. However, ERE offers a number of different avenues to help the parents in raising their children in the faith through the participation of religious education class, sacramental preparation, catechist training, socials, and retreats. Elementary Religious Education offers religious education classes on Sunday from 9:00am to 10:00am for preschool 3 year old, preschool 4 year old, and kindergarten, grades first through sixth grade meet from 10:10am to 11:20am on Sunday mornings. ERE also offers classes on Monday evenings from 4:30pm to 5:45pm for kindergarten through sixth grade. ERE host a number of socials: Barnyard Blast, Living Advent Wreath, children's Mardi Gras party, Seder Meal, family Ice Skating, Seder Meal and a Pool Party to just name a few socials. Elementary Religious Education also prepares the students in second grade for the sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist. If you are interested in enrolling your child in Elementary Religious Education or you would enjoy being a catechist or just need more information, contact Lucy Neal at 773-0297 or email at lneal@ologn.org

Youth Ministry
Youth Ministry reaches out to all of the youth of our parish and helps to inspire, encourage and teach these young people how to live their Catholic faith life. We help to prepare students for the sacrament of confirmation. Youth Ministry encourages the further faith development of individuals to learn more about their faith and to bring them into a deeper relationship with Christ and His Church. This is done through Sunday night sessions, retreats, socials, sacraments, conferences etc. We work on many levels parish, deanery, and diocesan. For more information, please contact Stacy Costa 317-773-0297 x243.
