Service

“There are diffent kinds of spiritual gifts,
but the same spirit gives them.
There are diffent ways of serving,
but the same Lord is served.”

– 1 Corinthians 12:4-5

Service plays a major role in the lives of all Christians. A service project is voluntary work in which one does not receive monetary compensation for and provides a service for another. These service projects are meant to give you, the student, the opportunity to share your gifts in the areas of Church and Community, and home.

We suggest that you start your service to Church, Community and home as soon as possibl.e. Part of doing for others is the satisfaction you feel. Doing a rushed job only creates a stressful atmosphere to those around you and the expericne is not one of gratificiation.

The serivce hous are to be completed before the night of Confirmation. The following minimum hours are to be completed in each areas

10 Hours Church
15 Hours Community
5 Hours Home
5 Hours Self
