Religious Education Registration

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) is for 3-5 year-olds (by 8/1/25) who are fully potty trained and not yet in Kindergarten. Classes will be at one of the following times: 

Sundays 10:15-11:30am

Tuesdays 4:00-5:15pm

Thursdays 8:30-9:45am.

Elementary Religious Education (ERE) meets on Sunday mornings in the OLG School classrooms.

10:10-11:20am (English)
12:00-1:15pm (Spanish)

EDGE meets on Wednesday evenings in the Donovan Center.

6:30-8:00pm

Life Teen meets on Sunday evenings beginning with 5:30pm Mass then in the Donovan Center.

5:30 Mass-8:30pm

Our Lady of Grace ERE uses a two-year program for Preparation for the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist.  The first year typically takes place in 1st grade and is considered a formation year.  In 2nd Grade, the focus becomes the preparation for the Sacraments.  In order to register for these First Sacraments, use the link above to register for Religious Education and be sure to check the box for your 2nd Grader to select the Sacramental preparation Add-On.

Preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation typically takes place in 9th & 10th grade, though it is open to 10th through 12th grade and it is not uncommon to wait for one of the upperclassmen years. We follow a two-year model for Confirmation preparation. Year 1 focuses on Evangelization and includes a Discernment Day and Learning Commitment for the candidate and family. Year 2 focuses on Discipleship and includes the Spirit & Fire Retreat, a Parish Commitment, and a Confirmation Mentoring program. The preparation gives a unique opportunity for families to grow in faith together alongside the teen candidate.
